Throughout the Covid pandemic our priority has been the safety and wellbeing of our service users and our staff and their families.
To ensure that we achieve this objective our Senior Management Team have met on a weekly basis to monitor and implement the guidance and regulations issued by Public Health England, the Care Quality Commission and the Department of Health and Adult Social Care.
All our staff have undergone additional and extensive training in Infection Control Procedures, the use of Personal Protective Equipment and Social Distancing.
A member of our Senior Management Team has accepted responsibility for ensuring that we have adequate supplies of Personal Protective Equipment and weekly stock levels are monitored and reported to the Senior Management Team.
Our offices and training facilities have been redesigned to ensure that they are compliant with Social Distancing requirements and some of our office based staff are working from home in order to facilitate sufficient space within our offices.
We are also pleased to announce that with the exception of a small number of staff who are unable to be vaccinated at this time due to medical reasons all of our have received their first Covid vaccination and over 75% of staff have received their second vaccination. Our intention is that all staff will have received their second vaccination by the end of April.
Our staff are also undertaking weekly Covid tests and the results are monitored by our Senior Management Team.
As we start to come out of lockdown we would like to reassure all of our service users and staff and family members that our vigilant approach to Covid will continue. This way we can continue to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all concerned.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our service users their families and our staff for the considerable support they have given throughout these challenging times.
